nitromethane/methyl alcohol/water injection

hey guys, i have a water injection setup and have always heard of adding alcohol to the water (50/50) to give it some "umph". i was just looking at my brothers r/c car fuel and noticed that it is a mix of methyl alcohol and nitromethane. . . and some oil. the nitromethane content is 20%. what would happen if this was mixed 50/50 with water and used with the water injection. not as a primary fuel.

i read that you have to increase the amount of gasoline injected substantially in order to stay safe and worthwhile for that matter. . .

anybody care to share some info with a newb to fuels?

thanks,
paul

How do you like your kit paul?

About the Alcohol, I use a mix of 30-50 pct alcohol at the track. Some times denatured, sometimes meth and sometimes iso. I never tried that alcohol. All I will say is make sure the mixture is not flammable. If your hoses leak in your engine bay it could cause an engine fire.

If you need any installation tips/help let me know. Im working on a document now. On the 24th I have an installation for a customer and I'm going to take step by step pictures and put it on my website.
