Need Upgrade Advice

Hi,

I haven't bought my 7 yet, I'm considering buying a 1993 VR R1, about 100k miles, pretty much stock other than some gauges (boost, oil press), Bov and exhaust. Turbos and Motor have been replaced though not recently (motor is newer than turbos). It was checked by a Mazda Tech whom I and my father know, and he said compression, motor, turbos all look good. I don't know exact info cause I'm getting it 2nd hand from my father whom works with the woman that is selling it.

I'm wanting to get it to around 350+whp, with reliability in mind, though the car will not be daily driven.

Is it better to go 20B?

Can it be acheived without upgrading Turbos or porting motor etc?

I assume the typical upgrades are required, like intake, intercooler, down pipe, it has an exhaust though I'm not sure which one or if there is a better or best.

I'm also sure I'd have to get it tuned, though I'm not sure where to go around Cincinnati.

Any advice as to which brands for which parts?

A friend of mine that I used to work with used to be a Mazda Tech (he also loves RX7s), so he will be doing the more advanced work.

Thank you for your help.
