Question NA Performance

Hypothetical Question, You have a new NA motor, BIG street port, Good tranny, Good rear end and you want to max out the performance of the NA without going TURB or S/C'd. Exhaust is a MAZDAPERFORMANCE HEADER with a custom single? What next for the most cost effective upgrade?

Open exhaust and a big Weber or Weber-style throttle body with FI system of your choice!

That and ditch the street port and go for something with a bit more overlap

Precise fuel delivery would be next on the list.

Like a Haltech or Motec. It eliminates the restrictive airflow meter, and makes life simpler in the long run.

A TII would still be faster w/ stock motor and turbo (modded to their limits of course, but hey, then it only gets better with more mods and MONEY)

I've "heard" the MOTEC is fine for drag-racing, but leaves a lot to be desired on the street when compared to a HALTECH? Please advise.
