N/A streetable race motor
My goal is to acquire and sa/fb and turn it into a somewhat streetable race car. I'd like to autocross it and maybe even road race it a bit. I'd like to keep it naturally aspirated and have it producing about 220-250whp. It'll probably only be driven on the weekends. What are your thoughts for porting and intake setup? I'd like to obtain an ideal powerband for this sort of driving, while keeping it as streetable as possible.
I was thinking of a 13b half-bridge and IDA style injection controlled by a stand alone. Are half-bridges something only done on 6-ports? Will it be any more streetable than a full bridge? Should I go full-bridge? The only reason I didn't initially consider this is because of noise.
Emissions shouldn't be a problem and I'm already considering items such as full exhaust, ecu, high-comp lightened rotors, etc. Money also shouldn't be too much of an issue.
Thanks in advance.

I see. I am new to the rotary scene, but I'm learning quickly. I figured that the half-bridge was a 6-port only thing. It only made since. I would imagine that this would be pretty streetable at low throttle.

I guess that makes more sense mathematically.
Is there much sense in doing a 1/2 on a 4-port other than going for a compromise between a street-port and full bridge? Aren't the primaries and secondaries of a 4-port always open?
The 1/3 port makes more sense from a streetability point of view.
Thank you both for all of your help thus far.

ls1 conversion will get you more then your goal, using a bone stock motor. It will also get better fuel economy. Im not sure if they do this conversion for the 1st gens though.
