My unlce has a 3 rotor 671 blower powered Blazer

anyone heard of him?

I have seen it and he drags with it.

I had never seen a 671 on a rotary but it is sweet. blower is as big as the motor.

just asking if anyone knows him.

we are not tight cause he loves money more than blood , if you know what I mean.

I am now back in the rotary scene after a 8yr break.

now I am considered NEWB again.

I just heard about that car from some of my friends that saw it a race a few weekends ago. It is for real, though I heard it had a bit larger of a blower on it.

Is you uncle's name Jose Zeda? The guy whose cars were featured in Turbo mag years ago? His shop is also in LA (Jose's Rotary and Muffler, or something). He was know for doing those kind of unusual swaps, like Buick engines into RX-7s and rotaries into Ford hot rods. I've heard a lot about a 3-rotor S-10 that he built but I've never seen it. Got any pics?

yep , that is him. He has several different cars.

Buick Grand National powered 93 RX7
87 with Tuned Port Z28 v8
83 with Ford HO 5.0
Suziki with 13B

to name a few. He has had them before most people knew what a rotary was.

1st time he took me in his RX3 I thought he was going to kill me or shred the tires.

I will talk to him and see if he has some pics I can get up here.

the grand national engine is pretty sick. In fact there is a grand national around here that the guy drives everyday and it runs a 10 second 1/4 mile. And those things are fairly heavy.

he did a 10.4 1/4 but he doesnt actually race it enough to have it tuned and set up right and he usually is running 2 cars at once so neither is really right. he is not really serious about it like others.

dont remember the mph. I left after 1 run .

How heavy is it? I mean 1100hp should be in the 7's at around 200mph

I do not know all that. like I said it is a toy not really serious about it. I dont know what the weight is for a older S-10 Blazer. It is not a small car . I am sure it could go faster IF he put all his effort into but he doesnt. has to many other things going on at once.
