Do you have to replace the gears in the CAS, or does it fit right in there?

You have to remove the entire CAS and replace it with the Dist.

Dude!

your still running a distibutor? I used to do that with my Turbo-SE (SDS)did you lock the thing and just set your total?

I guess it would take some bullshit out of the whole tuning process, you can't argue with the fact that it works!

Hey Marko!
The F-9 been in there long before the E-6K and S series were around. Plus there was no way in hell I would have used the original E-6 series in there to control the ignition.Too many horror stories about ignition cross fire and accuracy with that setup! Back then we use to call it the motor blowing ecu! **** you got better reliability blowing through carbs rather than using the original E-6 series. Haltech has come a long way since then and have improved a lot on the accuracy with the ignition set up on the K series.
BTW. Marko a little birdie told me you got a huge turbo from them!

The person who told me might be the same person that built or is building the turbo!
I don't know about the size of the turbo but the size of the honkers on the twins on the last pic above seem to be just the right size!

FINALLY!!!! Someone agreed with what I've been arguing about to guys about the accuracy on the igniter side of the Haltech units(I even had a thread running about this subject), thanks Crispeed, maybe now some of you guys will believe me.

Haltech have improved a lot with their new series of units!
The built in reluctor/adapter on the K series did away with most of the problems with the earlier units making it a lot easier to adapt to most factory designed ignition set-ups without having to fabricate custom trigger wheels and magnets etc.
When it comes to rotaries keeping the lead/trail timing apart without any cross-firing is more important than +1 or -1 deg. of timing accuracy on just one side!

Crispeed I know, but if I were gonna build a full out race car, I still wouldn't use it due to the fact that a distributor is alot easier to tune and more simple, less bs to deal with. I guess that's why almost everyone in PR, uses them, simple but effective. I know you know what I mean, hehehe.
