my first fd, what mods

my friend just got a 94 tt rx7 and he wants to know what engine mods he should do to make him fly even faster than he already does!! he wants to know what the best intercooler and blow off valve and turbo kits are the best. so someone plz tell me what he should get. thanx

Well, there are alot of turbo combos out there that work great but Iv seen serious hp put to the dirt with a Greddy T-78, Greddy 3 row fmic, street port,and some very good tuning. There are probely cheaper combos that work just as good.

Before you begin doing any heavy modifying, you need to do relibility mods.

The first mods I did were:
New intake, piping
Intercooler, elbow
Radiator

With those my engine was kept cool and then I could begin any heavy modif..... which I have yet to do.

That is what I was thinking. Make it more reliable than Mazda did (cooling mostly) and then make the power.

Reliability first, upgrade radiator replace thermostat install temp guage at thermostat housing and Miata switch or other adjustable fan controller.

If you want to save yourself a bunch of headaches then go ahead and go non-sesquential and get rid of all your solenoids/vacuum hoses/power steering/AC

first mod should deffiently go over every inch of the car and fix everything thats old/worn/broken
