Medium Weight Aftermarket Flywheel

I'm looking for a medium weight (somewhere in the 13-17 lb range) flywheel for a series 5, 1989-91 T2. Does anyone have any suggestions on such a beast? Anyone running something like this that may have some feedback?

Thanks in advance!

Custom signatures are enabled, but any graphics used in such signatures are limited to a 20K file size.

Signatures should be less than 460x200 in size, or no more than 10 lines of text. Combination image/text signatures should have no more than 5 lines of text.

There is currently no system to automatically check for these limits, so Admins and Moderators will be checking manually. Should your sig be found in violation, it will be removed without warning. It is your responsibility to then edit the sig and bring it within compliance. If you don't know how to edit an image and bring it under the 20K or 460x200 limit, don't use it! Figure out how to edit the image first or it will be removed.

Thanks for the practically worthless information that should have been sent via PM. Never had a complaint before, but I've complied. I've fixed the image size for now, but don't really have a place to host it for the next 8 hours, so I'm using the rx7forum to host it until then... when I get home, I'll put it on my own server.

No, that info is not needed, I just wanted to know if anyone knew of a good medium weight flywheel. I know what the advantages and disadvantages are for changing flywheel weight, I've decided on this.

But, for the record, it is going into my 20B T2 with a T-76 turbo, daily driver... mostly for straight line, will do some drag racing... maybe, and I say MAYBE, some road racing... but no autocrossing.

if you have decided on it, then you must have already gotten some feedback or have enough knowledge to not have to ask that question. that is the reason i asked you to please help us help you with your choice. and now that you state what you have "under the hood", i think that is a little different than what you previously said you were putting it into.

I wasn't being a dick... I just think that stuff like your first reply would be better directed personally than in the forum... Just delete this thread, no one is going to respond now anyhow...

I use a lighweight flywheel - abour 10lbs from guru motorsports in Australia. I run it in a circuit car but some guys also use it on drag cars over here.

Cheers,

I've found the Racing Beat 17lb light weight steel flywheel to be the best setup for a daily driver.
