Jose"Siquel Racing" Torres and his 3 rotor Rx7 run 6.89@197mph

Jose Torres and his 93 Rx7 full tube chassis had a match race against Carlos "Pepeloco" Montano in his new 1996 Mazda Mx6 20B 3 rotor full tube chassis. Pepeloco's Mx6 is a fairly new car and has NOT had enough time at the track to get the bugs out of it. He still manage to run a 7.66 @175 mph against Jose Torres blistering 6.89 @197 mph . I was told over all it was and awesome event and team Puerto Rico won. The 6.89 is Jose "Siquel Racing" Torres best Time up to date with his 3 rotor Rx7.

Today was the team USA vs Team Puerto Rico Pan American Nationals in Puerto Rico.

WOW !!! Congrats to the Siguel team.

Nice to see Carlos(Pepe Loco) improving and getting his bugs worked out in his MX-6.

Judge, correct me if wrong......

Pepe Loco is still running good-old Leaded race gas instead of alcohol and also a side ported motor.....
unless changed recently.

John, Pepeloco is running a large streetport and methanol. He switched over from vp c16 to methanol.

no. all he has ever ran is streetported engines. He doesn't like P-Ports.

****...whats the matter with some of you peoples? Give a PR car **** just coz it beat a US built car in Pepe Loco? Extra ballast....how much does this car weigh...blah blah blah...give a ****?

I was just reading that his other runs where 6.90 and 6.95. It's good to hear he's running consistant times.

I hope he comes to moroso next month so he can line up next to this guy. I'll have my handycam ready
