Thumbs up Jesus Padilla--Does it again (9.988)

Jesus does it again in his 85' rx7.
Yesterday at Atco Raceway. This is only qualifying but he smoked the competition.
1st run----10.086 @ 131.19
2nd run----9.988 @ 132.06

Today is eliminations and I have a pretty good idea who is winning All Motor Class.

Kilo knows his junk...he had a 12a bridgeport/nos running in the high 5's in the 1/8 beating the other guys running 13b bridgeport/nos combination timing low 6's...and this is running on a 2 rotor...they cant say anything now, before with the 3 rotor he was running the same time and he was outlawed...i think hes running a PP w/ methanol and I think microtech, but im not 100% sure of the ems...

We ran into Jesus in the bathroom of Fridays! He is a cool guy, we talked for a few moments (outside the bathroom)

I mentioned to him the post on this forum that directed us to vote on the NHRA website and he was well aware of it and was appreciative.

Good luck to him!!!! It's nice to see a rotary do well in that class.

Anthony

Kilo is indeed running the Microtech & yes we are sponsoring him!!!
He will have a complete new unit in the car in time for Colorado in June which should give him a few more features to help him along a bit & make things a bit easier for Rolo.
It would be good to see some other guys put their money where their mouth is & throw him some sponsorship dollars. The guy is relying on his prizemoney to get him to the next meeting which sucks ***.
Congratulations again to the whole team.It has been a big effort & a lot of behind the scenes work to get the car running to the stage that it's at now
