Italian vs. Spanish 48 IDA's

Just wondering...

I know the older I-Ti vesion has brass squirters that look a little longer. Aside from that, any real difference power or drivability wise?

I haven't noticed any tuning/power differences between the new and old.

Difference between older/newer 48 IDA Bodies

The difference is the casting. The older units had way more material if you wanted to bore to 51.5 or 52mm. I actually like the older screw in type pump jets instead of the new press in type personally.

obviously the castings are different, they are made in 2 different factorys!!lol

and as far as the older webers having thicker castings, i call b.s. ! i have a newer ida thats been opened up to 51.8 mm , thats pretty close to 52 mm and its still got some material left.... i will agree with you on the acc pump jets, the o-ring type leaks easily so you've got to make sure the o-ring is perfect.. hi albert
