Just wondering which intercooler kit and blow off valve you would recommend for my newly built 12at.

 

it depends on what size turbo your running and how much hp your trying to make and various other factors. you know the info of your setup?

 

The turbo is a t3 model with a 40mm compression wheel...mazda calls the turbo a ht18

 

id get a 1-1/2 - 2 inch thick core with a length of 20-25 inches depending on space avilable and for a bov id got with an hks bov if you can pony up the cash for it

 

I am not aware of any intercooler kits currently on the market for a 1Gen 12AT. You could maybe find something from Japan, but it would probably be less expensive to have a custom setup made locally. The size, type, and location of the intercooler are really up to you, as there is no "optimal" intercooler design for any specific engine because it all depends on your personal goals for the car. Doesn't the 12AT already come with a compressor bypass valve?
