Intake Spacers; Thickness/Applications

After getting sick of having no money, I've decided to finally "invest" some, and start making heat-isolating intake spacers, as I said I would have for close to 2 months now.

My questions are as follows...

Would there be enough insulating effect to warrant using 3/8-inch material, as opposed to 1/4-inch material, if the cost would be substancially different (about $30 each)?

Also, with a large hardness rating, which will more likely than not require the use of 2 gaskets; would there be any problems/benefits with using these in a turbo application? I'm more worried about boost leak than anything else (when it comes to FI).

Any input would be appreciated, as I will likely start production within 2 weeks. ~Colby

It'll be nice if you made a spacer which mates the 93-95 Upper intake manifold to a 89-91 Lower intake manifold.

...you can do that now; itjust requires drilling more holes in the UIM flange. You could just use the TII spacer.
