intake/exhaust porting combo.Which one?

I have the Racing beat porting templates on order (intake streetport, streetport exhaust and race exhaust port)

I will try to get a template of a more extended intake port from another source (Ito?)because RB does not offer that.

For the motor I'm rebuilding I expect to use the mild RB intake port but I'm wondering what to do with the exhaust. Race or streetport?
portings should be matched for optimal result but logic tells me that there is no harm in having the exhaust gasses leave the enigne as smooth (quick) as possibile in order to fill the room with clean air.

anyone wants to share an opinion or experience?

Thx

if you have any plans for a turbo down the line, then i'd say go ahead and use the race exhaust template, but if you're definitely staying N/A, then i'd settle for a compromise between the street and race exhaust ports. i have the race port template as well, and i ended porting it about 2/3 of the way because it simply looked like too much for the intake ports i'm using. i made my own intake template and it turns out to be a little larger and a little more agressive than the RB streetport intake.

hope that helps you some.

stock' turbo's converted to non seq. Single is the plan when the money is there.

I just go my package from RB. Seems they send me the triangular intake porting template which is only for the front and end plate...

Mazdatrix has the exact same ones on their site but they offer one template for bothe front and endplat as centerplate ports.

Bummerr...
