How much RWHP could I get from this set up?

Just wondering.......Aspec TT from RX7 store, Extended Porting, 1600cc injectors secondery and primary, Raceing pullys, Pettit down, cat and mid pipes. Apex Power FC, M2 fmic, Mazdaspeed aluminim radiator, Pettit Intake system with those 3 K&N filters, 2mm 3pice apex seals, polished housings, act extreme clutch, raceing beat 9.5 lb flywheel, extreme fule system from rx store. ummm thats about it.

I dont know much about this but i recon maybe some where between 400 to 500 rwhp runing 18psi boost.
What do you guys think ?

thanks.

If you're using the A Spec TT kit(which I believe uses 2 GT series turbos) you won't need the down pipe or intake kit. I wasn't aware M2 made a FMIC and are you positive you need 1600's all the way around?

I don't think you'll really get an answer to your question though because the A Spec TT kit isn't even out yet.

I think you have just a tiny bit more research to do.

not sure if you'll care, but......

Can't you get parts in NZ? I'm sure it would be cheaper. There has to be some rotary tuners there. Tell them you want to make 400-500rwhp, and maybe they can give you some suggestions as to what you should do to your car. I don't know, it would just seem cheaper to me.

Haaaa I found it. BORDER-Raceing sells the kit.
http://border-racing.com/main/border/border-parts.cgi

They recon 500hp from this kit. It will cost me $11 600 NZ. I think thats worth it for that kind of power from Twins. The turbos are AX53B70 P25's.....Apexi makes them and Border designed a complete kit to slap them on a Rex. Gooodie goodie.

Well I guess I found enough info to say that I can make my 500rwhp with TT's. Now all I need is an FD3S....lol

Because an intake kit made for stock twins won't fit the A Spec TT kit or the Border TT kit because they use turbos that aren't the same models as the stock turbos and aren't in the stock position. Also the downpipe is made to bolt up to stock twins, so it won't fit with a different kind of turbos in different positions not to mention either kit should come with a custom downpipe.

BTW, that M2 intercooler is a SMIC not a FMIC.

Your going to spend $12000NZ ?! Holy ****! AHAHAHAHA!

If you go to a local person, tell them you dont want a BP and it will cost a lot less than $12k!

Why add the complexity of twins?

Go single, for less money and same power!

Every guy and his dog has a fricken single.....some of us have to be different. Besides that I hate lag. Just for interest sake, Whats the smallest single that will give 500RWHP ???

Thats not always true, you can have twins with lots of lag too.

Getting a single will be cheaper. Less hassle for you and the mechanics. GT35/40 BB will make 500RWHP, with the right mods and tuning. And they spool fast. I think someone with a street port FD was getting something like 15psi before 3500rpm, not sure, but thats pretty damn good

A TO4S will give you 500rwhp on a dynapack no worries (this is lower than the figure you would get on a dynojet!)

I did 472rwhp (twice) with one of these turbos running 19.9psi boost, pump gas, and a full 3" exhaust (quiet) and an air filter! when I went to the dyno.... I had run it at 23psi after the session and it would easily have passed 500rwhp, drop the muffler and you would do this no worries at all

That is the limit for this turbo though, if you want more you need a larger turbo and accept that the power will happen higher up in the revs and a bit later.

I read about all the singles talk on here......sounds fun.....but i dont like the idea of lag...im not into drag raceing but i want 500rwhp...reliably and able to run on the street i want to feel the power kick in at 3500rpm. Is that to much to ask for ???

OK...so maybe a GT35/40 bb, polished housings and fully worked extended porting with all the accesories and 20 psi........would that do 500rwhp reliably and start coming in at 3500 so i can kill the **** out off all the cars on the road in NZ.
