How much HP should i gain with these mods?

hi,
my FC3S 13BT mild port used to have a stock turbo running 12psi, and was dynoed at 197rwHP (about a year ago).

when i got it i took it off the road,
put in a hi-flo series5 turbo with a T04 compressor wheel,
am installing a large FMIC (core 500mm x 300mm x 75mm),
and am planning to run it at 15psi or 16psi.

how many extra HP should i expect to see at the wheels with my new turbo, new IC, and higher boost level?

i am hoping for 270-300rwHP, am i expecting too much?

Thanks!

That sounds about right with good tuning. 300 RWHP is what I've heard. What ECU are you planning to use?

the engine is being run by a Microtech MT8 at the moment.
most people seem to have Microtechs in Victoria,

i want to get a Haltech, but don't have the $$ just now, and there aren't any rotary mechanics who deal in Haltech in Melbourne i don't think...

the other thing is that my engine is not dowelled.
i don't know how long it will last without dowelling at 15psi or 16psi...we'll hafta wait & see :-)

engine dowelling

there is a guy in QLD that can do the dowelling for you...he charges about $200 and that is for twelve stainless steel dowels that go through the motor from front to back

15-16 PSI should be ok without doweling. I'm running my motor at 16-17 PSi with a Greddy T-78 and Wolf 3D, and it holds up well. If it's a Series 4 motor then you may have to worry about the rear housing cracking. I've heard that some people just use a Series 5 rear housing.

I got a 1988 RX7 TURBO II. Any idea how much boost it can handle? Does it presently push 8 psi stock or 12 psi? What do you think the max it can handle? I am buying a T04 turbo.
