I have an 87 turbo 2 and want to get a fuel cut controller. but I dont know how much boost is to much while I have the stock fuel system. Will just getting a blow off valve save me from going over that amount of boost?

thanks

To be honist it would be a wast of money as you still wont be able to run any more boost without the Fuel system mods.

What mods have u done already if any?

BOV will not alter your boost you are thinking of a Pop off valve they are a safety device that will blow all your boost if it goes over a set Psi.

On my road car with stock fueling and airfilter i am running 8psi but the first thing i did is fited a Boost gauge to make sure it did'nt spike to much.
