How would a 3" MP bolt onto a stock catback? I've been told it will but can I do it or would a shop have to do it? What size is the stock exhaust anyways?

They bolt up just fine. The flanges are exactly the same size. If I remember correctly the stock pipes flare just a tiny bit right before they are welded to the flange. Even the hole in the OEM gaskets is really close to 3".

On a 3rd gen yeah, but on an FC its nowhere close to a 3'' hole.
