Question How To Connect Bosch "044" Pump

I have purchased a Bosch "044" fuel pump. I do not know how to connect the outlet of the Bosch fuel pump. The outlet is M12 x 1.5mm. What type of fitting or adapter would you use to connect to this outlet inside the fuel tank. I would like to connect is to a fitting/adapter as oppose to a fuel hose-hose clamp combination. Any ideas? Here is a picture of the Bosch "044" fuel pump.

You have two options , first you can use a banjo type fitting (, I think that is what it was designed for , ) or you can remove the fitting (and integrated check valve) and have a custom one installed. you can find the banjo fitting at summit performance.

This does not look like the typical banjo fitting. Most banjo setups have a banjo bolt which has a hex head, several ports coming out the side and intersecting a hole machined right down the center of the bolt, 2 crush washers and the banjo fitting. The Bosch fuel pump in question has a four port outlet like a banjo bolt would typically but in addition on the tip of the bolt-like assembly, there is a hole.

yep , that stupid ,wierdo fitting is the reason why i put on a normal streight fitting , you'll loose the checkvalve when you take it off , but if you're using an after market fuel reg. it wont matter anyway .
