Question horsepower question

Can anyone tell me how much horsepower I should have with these mods:
j-spec from an 87-88 w/ turbo
-HKS intake
-RB downpipe
-presilencer
-HKS cat-back
-850cc secondaries
-HKS EVC
-Apexi S-afc (old style)
-Greddy TT
-Bonez street/comp clutch/pressure plate
-SS clutch lines
What should be my next upgrade?

You can probably make about 240-250 HP safely with those mods.

pretty hard pressed to make more than 255-260HP at the flywheel if you have the factory exhuast restrictor (turbo) in place

What do you mean exhaust resrictor? Are you talking about the turbo?

the stock turbo acts as a retrictor, a) it restricts the amount of exhuast gas the engine is able to emit, which limits the possible HP from it and it restricts how much air the engine can inhale.

change from the sotck turbo to a T04 (with the other appropriate fuel/EMS mods) and you can gain 100-150HP running the same boost levels without porting the motor

Anyone know where I could get a good T04 for a good price? What should I do with the fuel and ems?

InitialDFC is selling a TO4B kit at a nice price. If you go with something like that you should get a standalone ECU.

Yeah, I probably gained over 200 HP just by changing the turbo and ECU, and that was with a car that already had a full exhaust, FMIC, etc. I'll know for sure when I dyno it.
