Exclamation Help with RX-7 price?

Hi guys I have been recently trying to purchase a 3rd gen 93 RX-7 and the seller is asking for 13k, I would appreciate it if someone told me if this is too much for the specs below. Obvously the owner knows that the engine will blow soon so I think he is trying to sell it. I did a full VIN report:

If the car has only 61,000mi then that seems like a good deal to me. However the last carfax report is prety old. It depends on other factors (paint is always a big one for me), but just get a compression test if you are worried about the engine. If the engine checks out, I'd say that is a fine deal.

Sounds like a good deal to me...But something to take into consideration is that these cars are really rare...if you are planning to make it your baby you want it to be as clean as possible...I just bought a bone stock 94 Silver R2 for 17k...it's awesome and in showroom condition...it has some boost issues but I am going single eventually so not a proble...

I'd say go for it if it's clean...if not, spend a couple more K for a really clean one you will be happy with
