Question help with my rebuild?

so im rebuilding a s4 N/A im trying to get the most out of it i heard putting rx8 rotors is the way to go so can anyone help with info they may know on how to get the most out of a N/A s4 motor thanks

Use the S5 rotors, flywheel, and front counterweight if you can find them cheap. They're lighter and have higher compression. Honestly, you're building a non-turbo engine. How much power do you want? If the S4 parts are in good shape then measure the engine clearances, replace what's worn, and run it.

im just looking to make an motor for my fc shell i was givin an motor for free and plan on rebuilding it but this car will only be used for a daily driver but if i need to change a rotor or a housing i might as well get something worth buying

Have you dissembled your engine? Inspect your parts first, then make a "replace" list. If this is your first rotary engine rebuild you should keep it simple and rebuild it to factory specs. Do you have a copy of the FSM engine chapter?
