Help with housing abrasion

I've got a few pics of one of my housings. It's got a small portion that is removed next to the exhaust port. I don't have a ton more spare cash laying around for a new housing on this rebuild, but if it does not look reusable, I'll have to bite the bullet. This car is getting a street port and is going to be primarily a street car. I don't plan on or want to rebuild again anytime soon.

The surface of the abrasion has been cleaned but yet to be completely smoothed out. Since there's going to be some exhaust porting done, as long as that abrasion was cleaned up with it, I don't think it's a severe concern.

What do you guys think?

the little spot by the exhaust port isn't as big a deal as all the wear and chatter marks... that thing was done a long time ago....

Nah, those aren't too bad. As long as the chrome is all actually there, they can be cleaned up quick and dirty with a few minutes of running a medium-grit Roloc over them in a right angle die grinder. I was doing ~110psi compression with housings that looked like that. My GSL-SE with REALLY GOOD looking housings will only do about 90psi...

Goopy can probably fix 'em REALLY well. So can I, I found a really good way of cleaning up the chrome NICE, but I'm not doing housings for anybody but myself. I'm thinking of just sending them to him, actually, since what he charges is pretty damn cheap for what you get.
