Help 13b transmission removal.

Ok guys so ive yanked out the whole motor and tranny and its sitting in my garage, Ive tried now to remove the tranny from the engine and found out that im having a hell of a time doing that. I was expecting to just undo the mounting bolts and slide the sucker off the spline. Is there a retaining pin or somthing that i might be missing? Please any thing will help.

First off, make sure you have ALL the bolts off. There are a couple around the starter and at the bottom side of the bell housing that can be tricky to see. Second, the aluminum bell housing like to stick to the steel pegs on the rear iron. What worked for me was a couple blows to the areas around the pegs with a rubber mallet. I then used a long screwdriver the slowly and evenly wedge the bell housing away from the iron. I can't remember exactly where and how many pegs there are, but once you see a picture of a rear iron, it will make since.
