Ok I get it. So in other words the engine has excellent low end and a normal idle while being a beast in the upper rpm's.? Hmmmm makes me wonder what a half bridged 20b would perform like?

That's the jist of what's being appealed to when doing a half-bridgeport, yes. It's a bit of a balancing act. There is a slight loss of low-end power, with a higher idle (1200rpm is usually what I set my half-BP engines at), as well as a dramatic increase in mid-range and high-end power.

i sit at 1400rpms, the idle is rythmic, but not what i would call rough

excellent low end (as compared to a large street port, almost identical)

power rocks

Oh it will brap!
Just like the name says, 1/2 bridge. It will brap more than a streetport but not as extreme as a full bridge.

I think BDC has some sound clips if he'll get off his lazy *** and get one for you. :p

Yep, it "braps" alright. It has three different tones to it, too. Let me see what I've got hosted ...

Here's some.

Yeah the idle is bit much, the whole car rocks rythmically on the suspension...
Once you have taste of a bp, there is no going back , for me anyways...
I don't notice the loss of any real bottem end except for it doesn't like to lug in the higher gears at light throttle, you do have to shift down sometimes just to knock the rpm's up so you can give it a little more foot, but as far as on power driving, a half bridge will drop your turbo response down alot, I had some lag before, now I have none, I touch the gas, I build boost, gas mileage is terrible, but its part of the fun....Max

You can get the gas mileage up to livable with some fine tuning stuff and O2 loop.

My low and mid is TOO DAMN GOOD !! , my newly installed OS twin dics clutch is slipping too and I still havent gotten past 10 psi ! , the big ports are great but there will be drive train problems , it just seems to be one thing after the next.

It never ends, Marcel. Once you're bit by the speed bug, forever will it control your destiny (and your wallet).

But I have been upgrading everything as it breaks , T11 diff , all the braces , custom upgraded PPF and the OS twin. The OS is rated for about 650-700 RWhp / TQ , I seriously doubt that I am making that right now , I am still at 10psi boost and running very rich since I havent retuned since I switched to the dual '044 . The only thing I expected to give later down were the axles.
What am I to do now ?, do I need a triple disc now ? , the twin clutch is almost brand new , I hate to have to go and do things over again especially when I know I did it right the first time.
