half bridge Which irons to port??

Question half bridge Which irons to port??

Hey people,

I have been reserching on half bridge ports and have come across some conflicting information,....... Which irons do i get ported?? the Primary or secondary??

Any help is appreciated

The front and rear irons are bridged on a half bridgie.

hey thanks, so ok the front and rear irons are ported....., can u tell me if they are primary or secondary? or if i just state front and rear irons to the engine builder he will know which ones they are?? I have never pulled apart an engine yet, I guesst there will be an internal engine parts diagram on here somewhere I will have a search for that

Well, when you tell the engine builder you want a half bridge, he should know exactly what you want. If he doesn't, I don't recommend having him touch your motor.

2ndary. The primaries (on the intermediate iron housing) recieve a street port.

Yea if he doesnt know what one is id find someone else...and if your going to try it..id find someone else...lol

hey thanks guys, yeah I was just making sure that they had it correct, I looked into 3 differnet companies and one of them, not the one that i am taking my car to said that i needed to port my primary irons, the guy im taking it to, was correct, i was just a bit worried cos i wasnt sure who was wrong lol so now, i know, to bridge the secondary irons as Rotary Experiment Seven says "The primaries (on the intermediate iron housing) recieve a street port." thanks heaps as i now can rest easy lol,
