Getting a JDM block

I am getting a JDM block for my '93 FD for about 1500 bucks. Good deal or no?

Sounds good to me U.S. 13B housings alone are like 1k from a U.S. dealer. But I have a question with the motor you are getting what's the difference from a U.S. motor? Bigger ports?
