fuel line diameter

Doing a 13bt into a FB body swap, and the stock fuel lines are in sad shape, was wondering if it was worth the effort to source out a larger fuel line? I think, correct me if I am wrong that a larger fuel line while it will pass a larger volume of fuel will likely also be harder to keep a steady pressure on unless I have a really large pump + FPR

any hard data?

please none of the "my buddies cousin said" stuff, just actual first hand experience please.
