fd intake on a turboII

who would be interested in an adapter plate for this? the internal ports on a turbo II are larger than on an fd. and the fd manifold flows better. so what a friend of mine has done is to take a turboII motor, put 94 rotors in it and use an fd lower and upper intake manifold. we have a template made to adapt these two peices (turboII block and LIM) together. would anyone be interested? or do you have any input on why this would not be benificial in any way? or why it would be a hinderance?

Can you give us some details?

o How thick do you think the adapter will be? I'm figuring clearances for an aftermarket turbo on long, tubular runners.

o Using the 3g TB, elbow, and throttle cable?

o Have to use 3g secondary rail? Those are side feeds, correct?

Just putting together the shopping list, before I go to the store...

Have others done this?

Thx,
Steve C.

you also need the FD tps sensor, you do not need to swap the fuel rails though you can still use the FC one

There are three main problems you will have to over come the first is the Fc lower manifold Primarys are alot smaller and need to be matched to the Fd inlet. Then there is the clearance of the Fc fuel rail. Last there is the TPS, this needs to be modified to a Fd.

Then if you get all that done you will have to use a FMIC and get a shorter TB elbow (i used a Greddy one).

I hope you have fun.
