This engine is one of my customer's. He blew it up recently. I was pulling the intake/exhaust manifolds off and noticed that it doesn't look ported. It was supposed to have a street port. I won't know if the internal ports are opened at all until either tomorrow or the day after when I have time to tear the engine down. I don't have any unported 3rd gen housings at my shop to compare it against. Do these ports look enlarged at all to you?...

It's hard to tell cus of all the carbon stuff, but the runners looks like they have been sanded smooth.

 

those angles don't really help....most port work is done right where the port enters the combustion chambers not much is ushually done to the mating sufaces of the intake/exhaust since the choke point is on the other end of the port.

 

yea, I will find out probably today when I pull it apart.

 

Put your fingers in there and feel. You should know in a matter of seconds.
