diffrences between 12a and 13b rebuild?

hey guys, i'm planning on possibly doing a rebuild on an 85 GSL, but i've never rebuilt a 12a before. i've done 4 13b TII motors, but never a 12a. what i'm wondering is what are the differences? other than the obvious water seals being in the housings rather than the irons, i'm mainly wondering about whats in the front cover and the races, torrington bearings, spacer, etc...

can anyone offer any input?

it's easier to put together when the coolant seals are in the rotor housings

other than that, it's a rotary.
