did siguel cheat?

as some of you may already know, siguel was disqualified in englishtown for being underweigh. does anybody think he was trying to get away with one? i think he was, but i wanna hear what you guys think.
siguel knew the rules, why try it?
i talked to the nhra officials and they said it puts siguels claim of running 6's very much in doubt.
when i talked to abel ibarras, he just laughed.
all i have to say is that im extremely disappointed. why resort to tricks? i know he's not the first to do such a thing, i remember rj simrock getting a free pass at the scales at all nopi events.
lets just hope that siguel gets he car dialed in in florida and that he can make a good legal pass, even if its only a pass in the 7.6's.

I would really like to know too. I was hoping that Siguel would come here and kick everyones ***. Obviously that would include Abel since the only race he has won lately was due to others redlighting or breaking.
abel does not have much to laugh about since he is not in the 6's either.
If some of these guys like Pepe Loco had the financing he has they would be kicking his *** too would be my bet.
I am hoping that Abel finds what it takes to get faster than the non-rotaries but it ain't happening right now.

I am too waiting for the whole story!!

However keep in mind Siguel LIVES and RACE in Puerto Rico were the NHRA hasn't really put any effort in covering PR scene, racers, and so on!

Abel .......... Well, ever since my incident with him or his crew, he can GO TO HELL Saying he can run 6.8's with Siguel's weight Yeah right, do the MPH's and then dream boy

With all that $$$ and name, and still playing with the kids

Have you confirmed this? I'm just as interested in Siguel's performance as any rotary drag racing enthusiast.

IMO this guy is a troll and eat a mound of feces.

IT'S TRUE!!

2,090LBS instead of 2,100lbs. Now Siguel never had a qualify round, and his time straight from the trailer (with PR settings) was a 7.19 with a 1.14 @ 60 Ft!

Judge by yourself.......

Some "US Tunning" and let's see the 6's in the us

Lets play nice guys....Thats part of racing. If he were 100lbs under weight that would be a different story, but 10-20lbs??? Come on, who cares...The dude went 6's!! I don't give a **** what he weighed...

when you're right on the edge of the min. weight, it's easy to be under by 10lbs. simple variances between scales could easily account for that 10lbs., maybe when siguel weighed his car, that scale read 10lbs. heavier than the scale at the track. maybe when he weighed his car it had a full tank of gas, and he didn't take into account that his car was gonna be weighed after the run which means he was on an empty tank. there's just a million different things that could account for the discrepancy, hell jose himself could've gone on a diet and lost 10 lbs.

maybe siguel just mixed up the minimum weights from the different sanctioning bodies. regardless, i highly doubt siguel would purposely cheat for a measly 10lbs., that amount of weight is so inconsequential. chassis and clutch tuning would have a much greater effect than that 10 lbs.

10lbs isnt ****. I'd agree that it was probably something like him checking the weight before the race but then it changing after the race. For instance if he used 1.5 gallon of fuel that would account for 10lbs. Hell he probably uses way more fuel than that.

I'd also imagine that Abel laughed about it cause its so damn stupid that this is over 10lbs but hey, rules are rules and they have to cut the limit somewhere.

He could have taken a 10 lb. crap right before the race for all we know. Big deal. 10 lbs won't affect his times noticably. 10 lbs. won't affect a stock n/a noticably. If others laugh at his times then lets see them match it. Until then they are only kidding themselves.

Well the thing is that it is being "rumored" all around that he cheated, and that those 6.9 are now controversial, etc, etc.

Now all I have to say is, 198MPH

Tha, tha, that's all folks!

BTW - I also thought aboout the crap theory
