actually I will be using not 98% methanol but methanol based mix. It has stochiometric value of 10:1 and motor octane 150. Thus I believe 9x1600 will be enough...
btw do you use some upgraded stationary gears for your high power motors or stock ones works fine?

Interesting... I looked into Ethanol, which is stoich at around 9.6:1 from memory, but motor octane is still 100, as is methanol.
We use standard mazda stationary gears.
