Critical New engine question
I had my new engine shipped to me with out the engine front hub installed. I have read all about the issues of the roller bearings and how they can shift out of place. I contacted my builder and he sent me this Email;
Hey there when I get my engines from japan they don't come with the front hub because the pulleys get attached to them. All the end play that you are talking about was checked you have a K spacer in there to make up the difference and and those bearings are behind the counter weight so they wont move. everything in your engine is guaranteed.
I don't understand why he's not concerned. I surely don't want to eat an engine and opening it up is not a big deal but I have the pan gasket on and sealed so it would involve a lot of re-doing.
Opinions on the subject wanted. I have posted this and it seems most guys just don't know the answer. Someone must know there shi*
