SurgeMonster- It's a 13B-RE from a Cosmo, hence "Cosmo rails converted to -6"

AJC13B- Now why would I want to throw a fan belt? But really... thats a good point. I haven't thrown one yet but I guess it could happen. I think I'll be a little safer with hard line vs rubber hose if that happens though.

RETed- good eye, you know more about my engine than I did.

$150FC- I have some fire resistant heat sleeve I can put over the lines. I wish I would have though of that BEFORE a flared BOTH ends, D'OH! I'll have to think about that one..

bcty- yeah.. yeah.. yeah...

banzaitoyota- OK I get it! haha.. But really, thanks for the part #.

RacerXetreme7- thanks for the kind words and I'll have to look at the "fan belt" issue.

I only notice it cause I'm working on a 20B for the past few weeks now.

Updates are in the 20B section...

Good job on the lines , FPR and distribution block setup set-up , but I tend to agree with Re Ted about the hest soak issue , in fact I think that it would be even worse since aluminum is a better conductor (of heat ) than steel and rumbber (of course). Heat shielding may help to an extent but I suggest you install a fuel cooler some where in the circuit , on the return or preferably on the supply to the distribution block , and no not the ice bucket type of cooler , but the air cooled "oil cooler type" , these are a lot easier to install.

Thanks for the complements.
Tonight I installed a stainless spacer in between the rotor housing and the fuel block. I had the block bolted right to those two bolt holes on the top of the housing but I'm sure that would have heated the fuel faster than anything else. I'll have to measure fuel temp after a long drive and when I have a relatively low fuel level in the tank. If it get's 20 deg over ambient air temp I think I will instal a cooler like you suggested. I'm guessing one of those auto trans coolers would do the job just fine.

Yes, I've seen others use a transmission oil cooler, or a motorcycle's oil cooler as a fuel cooler. Works good if you get a decent one.

Oh, you ressurected this thread just for that?

You really don't want to get into that discussion...

You can do a search for pulsation damper and find a lot of info on the subject.

How about a Delrin spacer instead of SS. Anyone sell already modded stock FC rails? Ie stock rails, cleaned up on the inside for flow with -6 fittings welded up?
