Cooling Issues

I know this saection might not be the right place, but I need as much help as I can get; and since this place get more people that the other sections

My issue is that water temp starts to climb as soon as I ride the car. The temp stays "normal" while the car is at idle, but as soon as I take it for a "cruise" the temp starts to climb. While the engine is on, without the cap on, there are no visible bubbles, the engine is not loosing coolant, and starts fine when is cold.

The water pump is new, the radiator is new, and so is the radiator cap. The engine is a ported 13BT on stock turbo, 3 inch full exhaust.

I am cluless, any help is greatly appreciated!

THANKS!

It's brand new one too, and the water pump housing has been inspected too; and the under tray is still in place

I'm thinking your water pump belts are slipping. make sure they're tensioned properly, and clean the pulleys, crap or oil gets in there and they'll slip like butter.

I thought about that too, but www.rx7.com websites said that "slipping" will occur at high rpms. I wil give it a try though
