Anybody ? , I'm getting ready to install my Meziere EWP and I want to get it right the first time , I've done a lot of searches and have found a lot of stuff , everyone has an opinion , so here is what I decided , I'm using the Mieziere instead of the Davies Craig 'cause I just cant be comfortable with a "plastic" pump in the heat of the rotarys bonnet ! , I'm keeping my water pump housing and replacing the pump with a block off plate , so my alternator will stay where it is. I'm going to use a stock thermostat with a pair of 5mm holes drilled in it (?) to provide the bypass back to the radiator ,the original bypass port is blocked already using the same "block off " disc off an old thermostat , retaining the hole in the midle so that there is a small flow through the bypass port(( and thermostat ) when the motor is cold , during normal operation the temperature would be regulated by the thermostat , closing when it gets cold but still providing a flow , since some flow IS required to allow everything to function properly, LEMME know what U think !!
