Congrats to Reactive Racing Again!
Congrats to Reactive Racing Again!
He did not break his record, however he was able to match it; meaning it wasn't a fluke (or a suicidal run).
7.625 @173.72

On other notes, Brent Rau just did a 6.976 @ 198.29 on the same category

WOW! Dee I was at moroso and seen you run a 7.67, thats the fastest unibody RX-7 ,13B I have ever seen, I then wandered over to your trailer and what really shocked me was your spare engine getting ready for assembly, HELL its almost stock inside, rotors slightly moded, 2mm2pc oem seals, mild street porting, no intercooler at all. just lots of air and lots of fuel I guess? HEY I was impressed---- keep it up. rotary engines are incredible. RON
Thanks for the compliment! For the record though my car is no longer unibody, it is a 25.1e back-half conversion.
And yes the car is street ported and uses all stock internals including the seals. I have always been a fan of the stock 2mm seal. All of our motors start off as malloy mazda remans. We just basically diassassemble them and port them a little then reassemble.

Dee,
I just read through the 2006 rules for NHRA Modified class and they are allowing the use of a 3 rotor. Do you have any plans on switching to a 3 rotor or are you staying with the 2 rotor?
