Condition of RB Carbon Apex Seals

Hi all.

Can I reuse carbon apex seals that look like the images below?

I have an S5 13B N/A in an FC race car. I used the RB Carbon Apex Seals in a rebuild 11 years ago that included new housings and ran it for about 4-5 track days since then. It had a clunking noise that eventually led to the teardown and inspection of the motor. As I get things balanced and bearings refreshed for the eventual assembly I am looking at the apex seals and wondering if these are reusable. The image below shows an example of what they all look like. If anyone out there has some knowledge about these specifically and can let me know their thoughts I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

I used to use these when they were available if someone couldn't afford ceramics. You can put those in an engine, but they wont make great compression and they certainly wont last. If this is a legit race car invest in ceramics.

Thank guys. It is a motor for a race car, but SCCA STL where no internal mods are allowed so nothing high horsepower. I decided to just go with stock Mazda apex seals.
