Clutch Choice

All,

I need to purchase a clutch. The motor is a 2nd gen 13b N/A. It will be streetported and probably not make anything over 215HP.

This car will be mainly an autocross car with a few drag strip visits.

What clutch do you guys recommend? I dont have a huge budget, but I want something that will last a decent while, but not be totally harsh.

This car will only see street time when its driven on the way to the track/strip.

Thanks!

Neil

As a general rule, the most streetable clutch you can get away with using is the best.... By that I mean use the most gentle clutch that can hold the power. This has the added benefit in that it is easier on the wallet...

Do NOT get a puck clutch or a sintered metal disk. You'll be nowhere near the power needed to exceed a full face clutch. I have a sintered metal clutch and it sucks *** on the street.
