It's the Powerdex AFX (as in Pokemon's Pokedex, dig it?) from NGK. Check it here:

http://www.ngksparkplugs.com//produc...000&country=US

It's absolutely butt naked basic, but coming from NGK themselves should make it pretty accurate, and it's got a 0-5v linear output for dataloging. At US$295 retail including sensor, display/controller, cable and even a bung and a plug, I really don't know of anything else that might beat it price-wise.

no plx is more expensive at 315. this is not a bad deal at all except the zeitronix wb if you have a laptop can data log your rpm's, afr, lambda for just 279 and then can data log even more if you buy the accesories.

do all these come with the ntk sensor , the plx and innovate ones? I do know the NTK sensor is more costly than the bosch sensors the other units are using

Does this mean that your WB readings will appear in your datalog recording? Does it matter which ems you have?

I run PFC, datalogit is specifically for the PFC and datalogits 4 inputs. So I setup the input and can read my airfuel all through my map. Great program.

Also the NTK's are only 40 at a VW parts online compared to the 80 for the LSU.

Zeitronix ZT-2 is a nice unit and what I am using.

$279 for the unit and sensor, but you can usually find a group buy for $240 and there is always a new one on ebay for the same price. No display for that price, but it comes with a nice user friendly data logging software that can log AFR, boost, EGT, RPM, TPS, and one user input. Works with datalogit too.

I always thought the vw's used Bosch sensors, not NTK. I learn something new today.

For those who have been using a wideband, do you tune and re-install the stock O2 sensor afterwards or run 2 sensors?
The PLX splices into the stock O2 sensor wire so it replaces the stock unit.
Doesn't the wideband sensor have a short life compared to a narrow band?
I know they're both heated sensors but I don't understand why it's assumed the wideband has a shorter life.

the tech edge has narrow band emulation on some of their models. this allows you to keep it whilest tricking your ecu into seeing near 14.x all the time.

I'm on the Zeitronix ZT-2 setup as well...it works great with my laptop and is a very reasonable solution for use with the FC Datalogit.
