i just bought an 87 turbo 2, and the guy claims that the turbo was bored out. the only reason i care is that if it is not possible, i want to get a new turbo, plumbing, wastegate, and all the trimmings to match all of the other mods i have made.

 

Maybe he ported the wastegate. Other than that, I don't think you can really "bore out" a turbo.
