Bridgeport seals?
All right, went and tried searching... and I know this may be a dumb question, but here goes anyway.
I've got a set of bridgeported irons sitting around, and was thinking of making a working motor out of them and a bunch of other spare parts. My question is whether two piece seals will work without the corner bit falling off, or if you have to use one piece seals. This is for a 12A, so the older style triangular corners, not the newer ones with some length to them. Just rather not find out the hard way if they won't stay.

If you have to cut a relief for the bridgeport on the rotorhousing then you will need one piece seals. If you don't have to cut a relief on the rotorhousing than you can use stock or any two piece seal. Look closely at the picture and you will understand what I mean.

Hrm, Atkins are cheaper than I remembered too. Guess I'll see how the seals coming out of the engine are.
Idly, there any reason the bridgeports should closer earlier than a good (E-Prod, that is) street port? Half suspecting the bridged irons are just not finished all the way.
