I don't believe Corky Bell designed that.. it's way way way below his design abilities. Maybe "'Corky' the mentally challenged kid from TV " is what the seller means. I'd contact Tweak-it for a pre-made intake manifold, if your not interested in waiting on a custom build ( better quality/design) manifold.

i don't like that style, it always seems to me like the rear rotor wouldn't get as much air but what do i know?

I'd agree, doesn't look like a very good design, the plenum looks terribly undersized. If you're getting a different manifold, get a webber flanged one and run some webber flanged TB's.
