blew front rotor - rebuilding next weekend.

Hello all. Sad thing happened today, my primary front rotor injector got stuck and leaned out my front rotor while I Was in boost. (this morning) It's sad, and annoying, but I'm over it. Next weekend I HAVE to have an engine rebuilt to put back into this car. I have all the things I need already, as I was planning on rebuilding an NA to put into a spare NA car I have to act like a DD.

I have a few questions on what I should do though with the setup.

I have atkins 2mm seals (because I was going to use it as an NA) and I am wondering if I should buy OEM now because the engine will be NA-T (6 port turbo), and I heard atkins seals are considered soft.

I am thinking about putting s4 t2 intermediate plate, and s4 6 port front and rear plates. I heard this would give me a ported feel, because the turbo is the largest stock primary, and the 6 port is the largest stock secondary.

Also, how hard is it to take out the stock NA diffusers, and install the t2 ones? I think that would greatly help the engine breath/boost.

that is about all I can think about now. My brain is going 1000 miles a second. haha

Thanks.

The 1st thing you need to do is get those injectors cleaned and flow tested before you blow another engine. IMO it is a must especially on a boosted engine. I would also install more detonation resistent RA apex seals. Had you had these installed in the 1st place, you would have only warped them. This causes much less if any damage to the housings and rotors. You don't need to remove the sleeves. I took mine to a specialized iron works shop and had them cut my diffusers out. I think they only charged me 30.00 for both.
