Like the post says,my motor rebuilder has been waiting a long 2/3 months for upgraded coolant seals from Hayes to no avail, and its getting old...

Is there anyone else who has a supply?or has a new set that can be sent,
thanks,Carl.

Visit RotaryAviation.com

They sell vitron (I believe?) seals that are supposed to be far superior to OEM. Remember, they put theirs in their airplain motors.

I actually called Racing Beat today to ask that (actually I was wondering if you could use piano wire to "o-ring" it like a cylinder head - shorrt answer-no), and they highly recommended using the factory water seals over the aftermarket seals

Don't count on anything but dissapointment from Hayes. The answering machine is set to answer after 1 ring so getting a hold of them is practically impossible unless you are local like myself. When I took my car there, I ended making the half hour drive instead of trying to call. From experience and other people, they have gone down hill in service and are doing some pretty poor work.

Forum member 'banzaitoyota' just took delivery of some craaazy seals he had designed.

They look pretty sweet, but expect them to cost significantly more than stock type, they are serious!

Rotaryaviation do not use upgraded coolant seals, only the combustion seals are encapsulated in teflon and only the oil control ring seals are viton.

Their coolant seals are like the stock seals.

Great find. They have the silicone and viton o-rings available. Which o-ring is the above part number for(inner or outer o-ring)?

Inner.
Use stock Mazda for outer - they are not that expensive.

I also have the info on my website.
