Aftermarket Twin Turbos?

Well, I wasn't really sure which forum to ask in, but this seemed like a good place. Is there an aftermarket manufacturer that makes twin turbo kits? I was think to retain low end driveability and have power throughout the powerband, not just in the upper RPMs. If not, is there a turbo which makes around 400 HP, has a quick spool and will not run out of breath up top?

You can make 400whp w/ the BNR stage IIIs given you have a port and such.

BNR makes upgraded turbos - http://66.216.67.51/subcatmfgprod.asp?0=220&1=335&2=-1

Bi-state customs - https://www.rx7club.com/forum/forumd...s=&forumid=119

Are these stock turbos that have been upgraded? I know about BNRs they mentioned something in the description about if your turbo cores are not good that there would be a core charge, I was more curious, say like a nice kit, Ball Bearing etc, I'll check out those links you put on there to see if anything meets my needs.

The only twin turbo kits you're going to find are the upgrades, there's no real 'made from scratch' aftermarket kit. That's what singles are for. There are a few twin kits I've seen, but they're all custom and don't have the same response as stock twins like you wanted.

If you want ball-bearing I'm pretty sure the M2 turbos are. If you want impressive numbers with good response, BNR stage 3s seem to be the way to go.

Ok, I am big on response which is why I was curious about a nice twin kit.

I am into road racing and need something that has good response for powering out of the corners. Anything in the single area, that produces quick spool, low lag, but decent power (around 400HP)

Sounds like the BNR stage 3's are for you then. Capable of 400rwhp, very quick response.

The BNR stage 3 is what you want. They're not ball bearing but that doesn't mean ****. I've heard nothing but praise about them and have a friend that's running them.

The stock turbos are T12's and supposedly BNR fits a T25 wheel in them.

I think the BNR stage 3's would do just fine for what you are looking for.

Try a few more searches on the single turbo forum, this topic has been discussed quite a bit with some comments from frequent track drivers.

In summary, the single turbos do fine on the track since you can keep the rpms up above 4k with the 5-spd. If you have some very low speed corners where you have to be at 3k rpm in 2nd gear then consider the apexi single, repsonse is almost instant for that turbo.

I have tried doing searches, the search doesn't seem very accurate at all. It brings up random stuff. Instead of what I asked for.

i was thinking about putting twin t3 turbos on my fd (custom of course). I want pretty much the same deal about 400 to 450 and good response. Does anyone know of anyone doing this prior to me? I want to get an idea of what this will bring me in terms of response and power. I am going to do the calcs myself before i get any farther into it but i thought id just see.

Thanks

yeah i figured that i would build the kit with the T3's and then when i have the extra $ to get some better turbos i will. I was planning on running one manifold per turbo so that they will be port dedicated. I'll have to double up on a few things but i think it will prove better for the whole system in the long run. Does anyone know of any manifold like this that anyone has specs for or perhaps just a few pics for something to get some ideas from?
