AEM UEGO question...

Hey guys I have just purchased a AEM EUGO kit for my FD. I was wondering when you all have installed these did you just replace the stock O2 unit, or did you retain the stock O2 and have this new sensor placed in next to it? If you replaced it what did you do about the power fc no longer recieving a signal from the O2 unit? Thanks for any help.

first it has been suggested that you place it as far away from the heat source as possible to prolong life of the sensor. Second, do you have catalytic converters?... because you might get a more accurate reading if you mount it pre cat.
