advice needed on large wastegates

What are the best wastegates 50mm and larger? I am using a Tial 46mm now and getting big time boost creep. I need something to keep my boost under control. I don't want to rebuild another engine again. My mods, GT 45/30, mild port, E6K, 3" exhaust

Forgive me if you have been through this already, but are you sure the wastegate is being controlled properly? A good test would be to simply unplug anything from the top port and run manifold pressure directly to the side port. With that setup, you'll run at the spring pressure.

The design of the turbo manifold also plays a part. If the manifold doesn't work as it should, I doubt a bigger wastegate will help much.

I say this mostly because the TiAL 46mm wastegate has worked fine for people with even bigger turbos than you are running. Perhaps something else is the culprit.

I liked the quality of my HKS 50mm. First time I've been able to hold boost so.....pretty much anything would make me happy.

Max, thanks that was my problem, the boost controller. Sometimes you take things for granted and don't check the obvious.
