If you just show up and run you will go against plenty of other inports just doing bracket racing. I went last year and made it to the 3rd round. It was fun and worth my few bucks to spank a Honda, a DSM, and a '65 Mustang with headers.

I don't get why bracket racing is so cool... It just seems wrong to let off BEFORE the end of the run!

(BTW yeah that's my secret Only really works if your car is faster than theirs, but usually if you cut good times and they don't it doesn't matter, just stay 3 feet ahead of 'em One time I basically coasted down from 1000ft mark and looked at the pissed-off look on the loser's face Hey, don't get pissed at me, I'm not the one who slept at the light )
